Emily Woodward,

Certified Speech Language Pathologist
Emily Woodward is the owner and director of First Words Speech and Language Clinic. She graduated from the University of Wyoming with an undergraduate degree in Speech Language and Hearing Sciences. Emily’s master's degree is in Speech Language Pathology from the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, North Dakota. Emily moved to Helena, MT and completed her clinical internships at St. Peter’s Hospital and her school internship at the Helena School District.
Emily worked for the Helena School District for 6 years prior to opening First Words Clinic in 2015. Emily has training in Feeding Therapy: A Sensory Motor Approach and is continuing to expand her knowledge through Advanced SOS Feeding Workshops.
Emily holds the Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). She has an active professional license for the state of Montana.
Emily lives in Clancy, MT with her husband and three boys.
Corrine Williams,

Certified Speech Language Pathologist
Corrine Williams received her Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania. Corrine then completed her Master of Science (MS) degree in Speech-Language Pathology at Bloomsburg University. She relocated to Townsend, MT and finished clinical experiences at St. Peter’s Hospital and First Words Speech & Language Clinic in Helena, MT.
Following completion of clinical internships, Corrine then became employed by First Words Speech & Language Clinic in September 2016.
Corrine has training in Feeding Therapy: A Sensory Motor Approach. Corrine holds a Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). She has an active professional license for the state of Montana. Corrine resides in Townsend, MT with her husband, Kyle.
Adan Cooney,

Certified Speech Language Pathologist
Originally from Helena, Montana, Adan Cooney graduated from the University of Redlands in Redlands, CA with an undergraduate degree in Communicative Disorders. She received her Master of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology from Loyola University in Baltimore, MD. Following graduation, Adan lived in Boston, MA for 4 years, where she gained experience working with children and adults in school-based, medically-based and clinic-based settings. Adan is trained and certified in the Hanen© Program: It Takes Two to Talk and the Hanen© Program: More Than Words. Additionally, she has training in Feeding Therapy: A Sensory Motor Approach, as well as American Hippotherapy Association Level 1 Treatment Principle Course.
Adan holds a certificate of clinical competency (CCC) from the American-Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). She has an active professional license for the state of Montana.
Adan resides in Helena with her husband and son.
